Plain Text generates a standard text document that contains unformatted text. Plain Text files can be opened in any text editing or word processing application.
The option Merge lines into paragraphs is selected by default. Readiris wordwraps the recognized text until a new paragraph starts, and reglues hyphenated words at the end of a line.
