Your lemonade stand won’t be open for business long without daily stock orders. You place your stock order at Night for delivery (and payment!) the next day.
Click the Stock button to open the Daily Stock Order display at the set your daily stock delivery.
Click the plus (+) and minus (-) signs to set the quantities of lemons, sugar, ice and cups you want to order at the start of the day. The unit price appears above the order (watch, and you'll see how the unit cost decreases when you buy in bulk), and the Grand Total for your order appears at the bottom.
Underneath your order is the capacity for each type of stock. If the number is red, you have ordered too much stock, and the excess is wasted (but you still pay for it!).
Stock deliveries are paid for at the start of each day. You can change your order at any time, but you will only receive your new order the next day.
Ideally, you’ll order exactly enough stock for each stand to match your sales. You can keep unused stock in you inventory, but the excess doesn’t keep for long. Ice cubes melt overnight unless protected, lemons last a day, and sugar lasts for three days.
