You lose a game of Lemonade Tycoon 2 by not having enough cash on hand to pay for your expenses at the start of the day.

To avoid this problem, keep an eye on your Today report during the Night. The Today report compares your current cash with your current commitments. If your commitments exceed your starting cash, you must either change your expenses or sell stands and upgrades to acquire more cash.
